About this workshop

Creativity Boost dismantles the myth that some people "are creative" and others aren't. Through a series of fast-paced exercises, participants discover that creativity is a skill—and like any skill, it can be developed with practice.

The workshop introduces proven techniques for generating ideas, overcoming creative blocks, and turning rough concepts into compelling proposals.

What participants will learn

The knowledge and understanding they'll gain:

  • Why self-censorship is the biggest killer of creative ideas
  • The difference between divergent and convergent thinking—and when to use each
  • How constraints can actually enhance creativity
  • Techniques from design thinking, improv, and brainstorming research

What they'll be able to do afterwards

The skills and behaviours they'll take away:

  • Generate more ideas, faster—without judging them too early
  • Use "worst possible idea" and other techniques to unlock stuck thinking
  • Build on others' ideas with "yes, and..." responses
  • Frame ideas compellingly so others can see their potential
  • Run effective ideation sessions for their own teams

How it works

Participants move through a series of timed creative challenges—each introducing a new technique. They'll generate bad ideas on purpose, combine random concepts, impose absurd constraints, and pitch half-baked concepts to partners who help strengthen them.

The energy is high, the exercises are fun, and by the end, everyone has proof that they can think creatively.
